Lea: 7 Weeks Old

“A baby fills a place in your heart you never knew was empty.”

Lea filled a place in my heart immediately. She was born a month early, at 6 lbs. 7 oz., and though her parents were completely unprepared for her premature arrival, they don’t remember life without her. Lea is one of the sweetest babies I have ever met. She came to me at 7 weeks old – often a tough age to photograph – but Lea was a rock star. She slept through most of our session, and even when she woke up she was content to just look around, give some smiles, and we were able to lull her back into dreamland.

Our session was a Mother’s Day gift from her dad to her mom. The look of love on their faces as they watched me work with their first baby, was a gift for me. Loved this family so much.

I had such a hard time picking my favorites for her sneak peek, because they’re all my favorites, but here are some I hope will make her proud parents smile.
