A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to celebrate Jake’s bar mitzvah with his family and friends. Everything about the day was perfect, from the weather for portraits (ok it was freezing), to the delicious food (and open bar) and the incredible basketball themed decor.

Jake is a really fun kid, a great student, adored by his friends, and loves playing basketball (go Knicks!) and hockey (his mom is Canadian, it’s kind of a law). I was going to write about how hard it was to get him to smile, but I’ll pretend it was super easy and just give you some of my favorite images from Jake’s Slam Dunk bar mitzvah at SPACE.
