A Double Miracle
The last time I saw Caleb and Emma they looked like this:
Born at 6 lbs. 1 oz. and 4 lbs. 7 oz., this dynamic duo made their grand entrance into the world five weeks early. They spent 10 days in the NICU and when I met them at 2.5 weeks old, they were precious but teeeeeeny. It’s hard to believe that those tiny beings are now these big kids.
They’re strong and healthy and amazing little people. Caleb smiles when you look at him. That’s all you have to do, just look at him, and he gives you this huge grin. And Emma is the sweetest little girl ever. She smiles with her entire being, her two little bottom teeth pop out and her huge saucer-eyes sparkle. They rocked their session, we zoomed through our outfit changes and setup changes, and I even got to feed Caleb his bottle (three kids later this never gets old!)
Even at 7 months old they’re great playmates. Emma plays with Caleb’s feet, Caleb pulls Emma’s hair and makes her cry, and they’re insanely jealous when one gets food before the other. Yup, sounds like typical sibling rivalry to me. Here are a few of my favs from our session:
Since they’re members of the Baby Club, I wasn’t so sad to see them leave because I know I’ll see them soon for their first birthday session. I swear their mom *just* told me she was expecting twins! How fast time flies. Can’t wait to smoosh you again soon!
