Jonas and Margot quickly became two of my favorite subjects. Seven year old Jonas has this energy that you can almost feel, he radiates happiness and his zest for life is incredible. Jonas can find a stick and create an an entire adventure around it. And eight month old Margot is sweet as can be with deep almond-shaped eyes, and a smile that lights up her entire face. She adores Jonas and the feeling is definitely mutual.

Jonas is the most protective big brother I have ever seen. When Margot cried at the end of our session because she was exhausted, Jonas scooped her up and rocked her just like he sees his mama do. I told him it’s ok, we’re finished, and Jonas answered “No, it’s never ok for my sister to cry. She needs me.” Well Margot settled right down in her brother’s arms and it’s kinda possible that my eyes filled up with tears watching them.

I just love the vintage feel we created with this session. Their mom created an inspiration board on pinterest based on outfits, colors, and items she liked (the teepee!!!) and we were able to create a session that fit her vision.
