In my head, Olivia is still about 5 years old. When I first met her, Olivia was a beautiful little girl with dark skin, big brown eyes, and deep dark hair. While I’ve seen Olivia many times over the years, seeing her in her bat mitzvah dress is when it hit me how much she’s grown. As pretty a kid as she was, she’s an even prettier pre-teen. I was honored to shoot bat mitzvah portraits for her family, and was thrilled when one of their friends not only allowed us to use their yard – but planted gorgeous flowers specifically for the shoot. That’s true friendship 🙂

Olivia’s brothers are crazy-cute (and currently in the running to date my daughters one day). They’re funny and mischievous, but sweet as can be. And her parents are about as nice as they come. We started our shoot hours before her party so we had plenty of time for a full portrait session without the stress of guests arriving.
