Sometimes I have one of those sessions that’s more fun than it is work. This was one of them. Maybe because C is one of my dearest friends, and her kids are beyond adorable, our session really was all play and no work. (The editing that lasted all night long was a different story). With 5 kids, it seems easy for one to get lost in the shuffle, but each of their kids has a completely unique personality, and we let those personalities shine through. 

First there’s A, the firstborn, who posed every time my camera came within 20 feet of her.

Then E, who found (and shared) bugs, creepy crawlies, and even an insect shell, and was mesmerized by them. 

In the middle of the pack is R, who – maybe in typical middle child fashion – loved to be the class clown. I loved these shots of R, and had to showcase them all together.

Then comes S, who loves the color purple and smelled every purple flower she could find. She’s definitely a kid who beats to her own drum.


Lastly we have baby D. This was my second session with D, and she is pure joy. She’s also a darn cute headband model 🙂
