It’s not every day that you meet people who become lifelong friends. But when you do, those friendships are golden. Shari and I met 17 years ago on our year abroad. We spent many nights hanging out together on her balcony, spent many days together sharing secrets and dreams, and possibly got into all kinds of trouble together. Now all these years later I can still call her a friend, and that’s pretty special. With 6 kids between us and jobs that keep us quite busy, we don’t see each other as much as we’d like. But when we do it’s like no time has passed. I was thrilled to be able to capture some fun times with her family, and can’t wait to help her decorate her new home with these memories.

We had a great time together, the kids were fantastic (even though 1 year old Benjamin just wanted to run the other direction the entire time) and we spent a ton of time laughing.
