According to Charlie Brown and co., happiness is sharing a sandwich, two kinds of ice cream, having a sister, catching a firefly, and walking hand in hand (among other things that fit their catchy tune.)  According to me, happiness is this family. They live in the moment, enjoy being all together, and love each other deeply. They laugh when they’re trying to be serious, smile when they see each other smiling, and just fit together like a perfectly created puzzle.

I had the honor of spending a morning with them while I was in Maryland a few weeks ago. (Anyone else have a hard time not working while on vacation?!) And I’m so glad they came into my life. Not only did I find gorgeous kid models who may grace the walls of my studio one day soon, but I’ve found a new friend in their mom, and that I cherish more than anything.
