There are moments when I wish time would stand still. Those are the moments where I am especially thankful for the gift of photography. You know what I’m talking about: the moment when your little girl has the most adorable grin after losing her two front teeth. Or the moment where your kids still think the greatest thing on earth is jumping into a huge pile of leaves. Or the moment when your growing son looks up at you with arms outstretched, still asking you to pick him up. Those are moments we never want to miss, and what a blessing that we have the ability to capture them and preserve them forever. 

Cherishing Family Memories

Those are a few of the types of shots I got in this heartwarming family session. This family is extra special to me. Their oldest daughter was one of my first clients nine years ago! She was a beautiful baby and is somehow even more beautiful now. She has the biggest heart and sweetest personality. I’ve watched her become a big sister twice and welcomed her brother and sister into the studio as newborns as well. I’ve loved watching this family grow over the years and was so excited for our fall session. We took advantage of the very last fall day – 48 hours later the first snowflakes fell! Even though it was a crisp 30 degrees and we couldn’t feel our fingers, we created magic and captured such warm memories.

Mom did an incredible job with their outfits! From their youngest little model all the way up to Dad, serious style goals! Together, this family is just visual perfection. Here are some of my favorites from their session, and can you believe this was all captured in about 40 minutes? (That was all our frozen fingers could handle!)
