I had a blast with Ben and his family (and their gorgeous dog!) and am so honored they chose me to capture these memories for them. We met a week before his bar mitzvah for his portraits (which takes so much of the stress out of the actual day!), and the following week we continued at his awesome climbing party at High Exposure. I love that his family was able to incorporate his love of swimming into his party, and his friends had a blast mastering the walls and parkour courses at this cool venue. One of my favorite parts of this job is making new friends, and I totally hit the jackpot with this crew. Ben is one of the most mature, kind, and genuine 13 year olds I’ve ever met. Its clear that he’s adored by adults and his peers alike – I watched him greet each friend and make sure they were all having a good time, and he made me feel like a part of his crew right away. Ben, you’re sweet and beyond adorable, and I can’t wait to see what amazing things you continue to accomplish. Thanks for making my job so easy. xo
