Abby’s Bat Mitzvah portraits
It’s the best feeling when I get a call from a mom saying “my daughter wants to book you for her bat mitzvah. We don’t have a location yet, or a caterer, all we’ve decided is that she wants you!” And considering most of my instagram followers are 12-14 year old girls, I’m happy they’re loving what they’re seeing on their feeds and requesting me. I had a blast with Abby. Her family is extremely close and I loved being an honorary Frisch/Rosenfeld for the day.
Abby is an awesome kid. Full of energy, she brings the party wherever she goes. She also has a huge heart, and for her bat mitzvah project she’s running the Vegas Half Marathon with Team Yachad this January, and raising money for the special needs program at her summer camp. She’s more than half way to her goal of $3,000! It takes a truly special kid to recognize the importance of this program and find a way she can make a difference.
We started our day with portraits in one of my favorite parks, and then went on to dance the night away. Abby’s sister told me that Abby is always connected to her phone, and her friends on the other side of that phone, so it was only fitting that her giveaway was a charger 🙂 They even had custom geofilters made for the day! Here’s a snapshot from our amazing day together. Mazal tov Abby!
