There are so many things about this family that I loved. I loved how calm and relaxed mom and dad were; instead of being overprotective or nervous or panicked (or any of the things I’d be if I just had twins) they just smiled. For three hours, they smiled. I love how in a split second their family doubled in size, and I love that already they can’t remember life before they arrived. I love how these girls are so different from one another. Adira is really mellow, and even with her sister crying right next to her, she didn’t seem to care. Orly is the smaller sister, and let’s just say she’s feisty. And most of all I love that these girls will always have each other.

The girls were a bit older than my usual newborns, and they definitely made me work. But I’m so glad they made the trip from Manhattan to Jersey to see me, and I’m so glad they’ve come into my life. Here are some of their mom’s favorites from our session:
