Leora’s Bat Mitzvah
The first time I met Leora, I was stuck by her beauty. It’s not every day you see a 12 year old who is so striking you can’t help but watch her. But what I am most amazed at, and what just adds to her beauty, is that Leora has no idea how stunning she really is. And even more amazing, her inner beauty is equally as spectacular.
It’s been said that beauty is looking into someone’s eyes and seeing their heart. This is so true when it comes to Leora. Helping others is ingrained in her, and for her bat mitzvah project Leora organized a food drive for Passover through a local organization. She got her friends involved and together they packed bags with food staples and luxury items, things many of us take for granted, but Leora knows many go without on this holiday. She wanted to make sure everyone was remembered on Passover and wanted to let those less fortunate know that people cared about them.
Fitting with her ‘girl next door’ persona, Leora loves softball and basketball and even her brother admits she’s a great athlete. She’s focused and diligent, in sports and schoolwork, and when Leora puts her mind to something, she rocks it. She’s blessed to be surrounded by a huge and loving family, and is lucky enough to still have two great-grandmothers.
Meet Leora and her super fun family. And her dress – A-Mazing! When you see it on my daughter in a few years act surprised! I love it that much!
Now let the PARTY BEGIN!! Every detail was perfect – the pink lights illuminating the walls, the crystals hanging from the ceiling, every touch was pink and girly and perfect.
That amazing smile never left her face, and I had a great time with Leora and her friends. Leora you are awesome and I wish you only smiles and happiness always.
xoxo
