Watching them Grow
One of the most incredible parts of this ‘job’ is being able to watch children and families grow. Every day I meet amazing people and often I’m lucky enough to call these new clients my new friends. Families like this is why I continue to work such long and exhausting hours, and these people here are good people. I first met them when their son was born and they brought a teeny newborn and big sister for a session. They graced my lens again when their son was about 6 months old, and then again last week. I was amazed at how big that newborn got, and how wonderful his big sister his.
With a sparkle in his eye and a smirk on his face, Eitan is funny and mischievous, and kept me on my toes the entire time. When you say walk he runs, when you say sit he jumps…laughing the entire time. Talia is sweet and sassy, mature and sophisticated, and ready as ever to start kindergarten. (I bet she’ll be teaching the class by the 2nd week of school.) Their Grammy came along for our session and even hopped into a few pics with the kids (as the vice principal of my kids’ school she’s also really high on my list of favorite people!)
I adore this family, and am so honored that they choose to come back to me often to capture such special milestones and moments. Thank you for entrusting your memories to me, it means a lot. xoxo
