I looked forward to the birth of this baby for months. In fact I’m pretty sure I was one of the first to know her mom was expecting when I got a ‘save the date for a newborn session’ email from dad about a year before she was actually born. (For those of you who know her dad you can imagine how insane that email was, but I’ll leave that alone for now). ANYWAY I met them when big sister Lea was born, and had the honor of capturing images for them three times during Lea’s first year. Lea crawled for the FIRST TIME in my studio, and then took her FIRST STEPS here to get to her birthday cake. I went into a deep depression when her baby club was over, and I’d like to think they had another baby just for my happiness.

When the beautiful Rena Tamar was born I was over the moon for them. Though she was much later than I was expecting (Lea was early) I was able to get her session in right before I went on vacation. Rena fought sleep for a while, but I was so happy with her eyes wide open shots. And we had to snap a few of Lea as long as she was here.

I give you miss Rena Tamar. Rena I cannot wait until your 6 month session. Save those crawls for the studio!   xoxo
