It doesn’t matter if you’re welcoming your first baby or your fifth, meeting a new bundle of joy is nothing short of amazing. And if it does involve a new sibling introduction, that time is oh, so sweet! Sometimes it takes a little while for them to warm up to each other, but seeing siblings really connect for the first time – even if it is brief – is magical. Before you know it, your newborn will be turning happily to the sound of big sibling’s voice, and your older one will be sneaking in kisses (newborn cheeks are irresistible even for the most stubborn older siblings.) 

All that to say, I was so excited to see this sweet family again! What a joy it was to welcome baby Max to the world. Life gets pretty hectic with little ones, and I hadn’t seen his big sister Brynn since her newborn session several years ago. It was amazing to see the little person she has become. Brynn was so proud to show me her new baby. I could clearly see the sibling resemblance, which gave me flashbacks from her session! I can’t believe she’s so grown up and can confidently hold her baby brother all by herself (safely and with a spotter of course!). This big sister certainly wasn’t shy expressing her adoration for her little brother, and he looked so peaceful in his big sister’s arms.

World Series Wins & Newborn Grins!

For baby Max’s session theme, in addition to lots of simple and classic images, Mom requested a baseball setup in honor of Dad who is a Washington Nationals fan (I’m fairly certain the Nats can thank their newest little fan for their World Series win!) 🙂 AND, because they did pull off the win this year, how priceless are these photos?! These will serve as special memoirs for sure.

But I have to admit: the photo of this brand-new family of four is still my favorite. Congratulations to this sweet family. I’m so grateful for another opportunity to capture such a special time in their lives.
