Oh, my goodness…are you ready for this?! Warning: cuteness overload! I love when parents come to me with a fun idea and they let me just run with it. Ariana’s parents wanted a donut smash and gave me carte blanche to create her set with whatever colors and ideas I wanted! Even in the middle of our conversation, my imagination started flowing with ideas. I couldn’t wait to show off their sweet baby girl in a room filled with bright sprinkles and frosted pastries!

Even though I certainly wanted to put together a beautiful set, my ultimate goal was to create a design that would inspire lots of giggles, smiles, and wonder in our birthday girl. This was a time to celebrate her, and I wanted to do it up big! 

As soon as Ariana walked in the door, her eyes grew wide and she made that adorable little “Oh!” face toddlers make when they see something fascinating. I knew right then she would love it. This little girl looooves to eat. We didn’t have any trouble with her crawling away as she wiggled and giggled around the set to taste test every donut. I smiled through her entire session. Even as I’m writing this, I can’t help but chuckle as I recall her delightful antics. We learned that Ariana not only loves donuts, but she prefers chocolate donuts more than any other. That’s my kinda girl!

And I can’t forget to mention her outfit! It was absolutely perfect for Ariana’s bright personality: feminine and dainty with some playfulness added in. Her donut shirt matched the design on the backdrop, and we paired it with a soft-pink tutu and simple pink headband. Oh man, was she cute!
