It’s finally SPRING (sorry if it snows tomorrow just because I said that), the flowers are peeking their heads out of the ground, the sun is out, and my clients no longer have purple lips and 12 layers of clothing for outdoor portraits! Hooray! All of my favorite things came together for this session, starting with the colors. I’m a pink girl, I’d live in a pink house if I could (wait, with 3 daughters I kinda do), so when Avigayil got out of the car in her bright pink dress, I was in heaven. Judging from the smile on her face, so was she.

So I love spring and I love pink, got it. I love adorable 3 year old little sisters – check. I love cool brothers who forget they have to be cool and break out in crazy giggle fits – double check. I love bat mitzvah girls with spunk – turns out ‘serious spunk’ should be this kid’s nickname. And I love a family who knows how to have fun. Judging from some of the shots below, clearly that wasn’t hard.

Avigayil is the perfect combination of sweet and sassy. She’s beautiful and kind, smart and sophisticated. She plays the role of ‘responsible oldest child’ really well. This crew was so much fun and I’m honored they chose me to capture their fun-formal bat mitzvah shots.  Mazal tov guys!
