When I was growing up with curly hair, I hated it. I didn’t know what to do with it, my mom (hi mom) brushed it when dry (the cardinal sin of curly hair) and I wanted straight hair like my friends. Meanwhile my friends all got perms (clearly I’m a child of the 80’s) starting in 5th grade and it seemed that every grown-up loved my hair and commented “people pay a lot of money for this hair!” I never understood what the hell they were talking about. As an adult I love my hair, and am thrilled that 2 out of my 3 kids have my ringlets (although it makes for really high water bills and a lot of tears over knots). When this great family showed up for our session I was blown away by their hair. Yes people pay a lot of money for this hair. Yes all three girls have amazing curls. And yes all three are different colors!
So enough of the hair blog, you came to see photos, so here they are.

And this little one – if I didn’t have her clone at home (but with brown curls) I would have taken her home with me, she was just too cute!
